Sam the Snowman (voiced by Burl Ives) tells the story of a misfit reindeer who goes in search of his destiny, picking up more misfit pals along the way, only to be led back to Santa and the North Pole, where he saves the holiday with his shiny red nose. The beloved Christmas classic is based on the story and song, and done in stop-motion animation by Rankin/Bass.
